Job Description

About Virohan:

Founded in 2018, by Kunaal Dudeja, Nalin Saluja and Archit Jayaswal, Virohan is an education-to-industry partner, shaping the future of healthcare education. We work with universities and colleges across India to deliver industry-aligned programs in healthcare and management, designed to bridge the gap between education and real-world employability.

At Virohan, we believe healthcare education needs to go beyond classrooms. Our model combines academic learning with hands-on industry exposure and strong healthcare partnerships, ensuring students are prepared for real roles.

Today, Virohan has trained 13,000+ healthcare professionals, with a growing network of university and industry partners across the country.

Backed by global investors including Blume Ventures (India), Mynavi Corporation (Japan), Rebright Partners (Japan), Elea Foundation (Switzerland), Artha Impact (Switzerland), Bharat Inclusive Technologies Seed Fund (India), and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance Venture Capital (Japan), we are building at the intersection of education and healthcare — two of India's fastest-growing sectors.

At our core, we are guided by a strong set of values that define how we work, build, and grow together — from ownership and bias for action to empathy, continuous learning, and raising the bar.

If you're excited about building something meaningful at scale and solving real-world problems, you'll find yourself at home at Virohan.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a strategic, data-driven, and execution-focused Manager/ Senior Manager – Recruitment Operations & Success to lead our placement and internship delivery engine across India. In this high-impact role, you will own the success of Virohan's placement outcomes by building robust systems, managing key stakeholders (internal and external), and leading a distributed team of placement and operations associates.

Your mission is simple but powerful: ensure every eligible student has access to real employment opportunities through a process that is efficient, data-backed, and employer-centric.

Key Responsibilities:

Placement & Internship Strategy

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive placement strategy aligned with our student success goals and industry demand.
  • Own national-level placement targets, ensuring consistency and quality across geographies.
  • Design scalable processes for internship tracking, employer outreach, and student readiness.

Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders – including Academic, Product, and Student Success teams – to align efforts and timelines.
  • Cultivate and manage relationships with external stakeholders – including employers, hospitals, healthcare recruiters, and hiring partners – to unlock opportunities.

Data & Process Excellence

  • Lead data management for all placement and internship activities; build live dashboards, MIS reports, and performance trackers.
  • Use insights to forecast demand, monitor placement effectiveness, and guide operational decisions.
  • Implement systems to ensure placement hygiene – student eligibility, documentation, feedback, and follow-ups.

Team Leadership & Execution

  • Build, train, and lead a high-performing team of regional and local placement associates.
  • Define team KPIs, review performance regularly, and foster a culture of accountability and ownership.
  • Ensure smooth, timely execution of hiring drives, campus interviews, and placement-linked activities across all centers.

Continuous Improvement

  • Introduce SOPs, automations, and process audits to reduce manual effort and increase speed-to-placement.
  • Benchmark and implement best practices from staffing and recruitment ecosystems.
  • Drive regular feedback loops from students and employers to improve placement outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience in operations and strategy.
  • Strong background in data operations – advanced Excel/Sheets skills, experience with CRM/MIS tools.
  • Experience managing a team or delivery across regions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep sense of ownership and bias for action in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.

Why Join

Us At Virohan, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming India's healthcare education landscape. You'll work with passionate teams, visionary leaders, and a mission-driven culture that rewards innovation, ownership, and real-world impact.
