Role Description

This is an on-site, full-time position for a Business Development Manager based in Hyderabad. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving revenue growth. They will lead sales initiatives, negotiate and close deals, develop strategies to expand market presence, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions to clients IT infrastructure needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and generate new business opportunities in IT infrastructure, networking, and cloud services
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and references
  • Manage end-to-end sales cycle: lead generation → proposal → negotiation → closure
  • Leverage existing client database and industry connections to drive new business
  • Establish and nurture long-term relationships with clients and partners
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new growth areas
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design customized IT solutions for clients
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and RFP responses
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM tools and track sales performance metrics
  • Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking forums.

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience inIT Sales / Business Development (mandatory)
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of IT services (Networking, Cloud, Infrastructure solutions)
  • Existing database / network of corporate clients preferred
  • Experience in B2B sales and enterprise client handling
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong business acumen and market understanding
  • Ability to work independently and drive results

Qualifications

  • Proven expertise in Business Development, Sales, and Market Research
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to develop Sales Strategies and evaluate Market Trends
  • Background in IT Infrastructure, Software, and Cloud-based solutions such as Azure and Office 365 is advantageous
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Bachelor's/Masters degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
  • Experience in the IT services or solutions industry is highly desirable
