Job Description:

  • The Operations Manager will support Cynet Health Canada and Cynet Systems Canada in the delivery of high-quality staffing services.
  • Reporting directly to the VP, Cynet Canada, this role will work cross-functionally to support the growth and performance of both healthcare and IT staffing services for Canadian clients.
  • You will collaborate closely with Service Delivery, Business Development, RFP, Marketing, HR, Travel, Payroll, and Billing to ensure smooth operations, strong internal alignment, and a consistently high standard of service delivery.
  • The ideal candidate brings experience supporting both healthcare and IT staffing operations, preferably within the Canadian market, and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Experience and Skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in the staffing industry.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting healthcare and/or IT staffing operations.
  • Experience working across multiple internal functions in a service-driven organization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Highly self-motivated, organized, and execution-focused.
  • Comfortable bringing forward ideas, recommendations, and solutions.
  • Positive, adaptable, and resilient in a changing environment.
  • Collaborative communicator who values diverse perspectives and teamwork.

Role and responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Conduct market research to support business development in existing and emerging service lines.
  • Track and support RFP submissions, providing Canada-specific content, data, and coordination as required.
  • Create, refine, and contribute to internal and external proposals and presentations.
  • Research, evaluate, and coordinate participation in industry conferences and events.
  • Partner with Marketing to support targeted recruitment campaigns.

Operations:

  • Establish and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting to support business insights and decision-making.
  • Analyze operational and performance data to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and coordinate the resolution of client and provider escalations, working with clinical leads and internal teams to achieve timely, satisfactory outcomes.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to reduce inefficiencies, minimize errors, and improve scalability, including enriching existing roster data with AI tools.
  • Act as a liaison between Delivery and Payroll/Billing to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant operations.
  • Communicate operational priorities clearly to recruitment and delivery teams.
