Role Description The Operations Manager role at Travel Bug Tales is a full-time, on-site position based in Mumbai. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day travel operations, including itinerary execution, vendor coordination, and service delivery for individual and corporate clients. The Operations Manager will monitor booking workflows, ensure accurate and timely processing of flights, accommodations, transport, and visa-related services, and resolve operational issues to maintain a high standard of customer satisfaction. The role includes managing relationships with hotels, airlines, and logistics partners, optimizing internal processes, and coordinating with sales and customer support teams to ensure seamless end-to-end travel experiences. The Operations Manager will also track operational performance, manage budgets related to operations, and contribute to continuous improvement of service quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong travel operations and logistics skills, including experience with itinerary management, vendor coordination, and end-to-end trip execution.
  • Candidates should possess customer service and client relationship skills, with the ability to handle escalations, manage expectations, and deliver consistent, high-quality service.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and planning skills, including attention to detail, time management, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent bookings and projects.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using travel management tools or booking platforms, and in optimizing processes for efficiency.
  • Candidates should possess communication and collaboration skills, including clear verbal and written communication and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Relevant experience in travel management, hospitality, or operations in a service-focused environment is highly beneficial.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, tourism, or a related field is preferred, along with familiarity with domestic and international travel regulations and practices.
  • Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, with flexibility to manage urgent operational needs, is required.
