Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Manager with at least 14 years of experience in an engineering or consulting organization, preferably in the Transmission & Distribution (T&D) industry. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader responsible for managing the development and execution of our operations strategies and goals. This role requires an individual with a proven track record in project management, business development, and team leadership, who can drive growth and maintain strong internal and external relationships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Management: Manage the development and execution of our T&D operations strategies and goals. You will manage initiatives for growth, revenue, and business plan goals across our offices, and support them in achieving financial performance targets.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Provide leadership, development, and guidance to all T&D offices. You will also organize and lead the performance appraisal process and assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining outstanding employee-owners.
  • Business Development: Help establish our position in the global T&D business through strategic planning and business plan development, with a focus on continued growth. You will prepare and implement market development plans to identify new clients and foster key relationships.
  • Coordination & Compliance: Act as a liaison between our offices and applicable corporate initiatives. You will facilitate the distribution of tools and resources and ensure compliance with our Quality Control program and safety policies.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in any Engineering discipline from a recognized university.
  • Experience: A minimum of 14 years of total experience in an engineering or consulting organization, preferably within the Transmission & Distribution Industry. You should have prior expertise in client and business development, as well as managing projects from proposal to close-out.
  • Skills:
  • Project Management: Expert knowledge of project management methodologies and tools, including Microsoft Project.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated success in managing large teams, with the ability to influence, lead, and manage thoughtfully.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
  • Analytical: Excellent planning and analytical skills, with the ability to swiftly adapt to changes and make informed decisions.
  • Personal Attributes: Readiness to travel to both domestic and international locations as needed to engage with employees and teams.
