Description
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager who is willing to relocate to the Andaman & Nicobar Islands to oversee the day-to-day operations of our hotel, restaurant, and resort. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in the job market context of India and possess a strong background in hospitality management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage all aspects of hotel, restaurant, and resort operations
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and attention to detail
- Responsible for the overall management of the operation of the hotel.
- Conduct regular operations team meetings with all the HOD daily / weekly to discuss routine operational matters, sales targets, guest feedback, and action taken for service recovery and any staff issues.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations
- Manage and lead a team of employees, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Monitor financial performance and develop strategies to increase revenue and profitability
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field
- 7-10 years of experience in hospitality management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Demonstrated financial management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations
- In-depth knowledge of F&B trends and statutory compliances.
