Job Title Manager Operations (RCM)

Location Chennai DLF

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Manager Operations in the Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) domain to lead and manage front-end revenue cycle processes, specifically Eligibility & Benefits Verification, Prior Authorizations, and Insurance Verification. The role requires strong people management, client handling, process optimization, and deep payer knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end Eligibility Verification, Benefits Verification, and Prior Authorization operations
  • Lead, mentor, and manage team leads, supervisors, and associates
  • Ensure accurate verification of patient insurance coverage, benefits, deductibles, copays, and out-of-pocket details
  • Oversee authorization workflows including medical necessity checks and payer-specific requirements
  • Monitor daily productivity, quality, TAT, and SLA adherence
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and error reduction
  • Handle client communications, performance reviews, and escalation management
  • Conduct regular audits, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, payer guidelines, and client SOPs
  • Prepare and present MIS, dashboards, and operational metrics
  • Support transitions, ramp-ups, and new client implementations

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of US Healthcare RCM Front-End Operations
  • Expertise in Eligibility & Benefits Verification and Prior Authorization
  • In-depth understanding of commercial, Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care payers
  • Excellent people management and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
  • Experience working with EMRs, practice management systems, and payer portals
  • Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with US Healthcare providers / billing companies
  • Prior exposure to client-facing roles and offshore delivery models
  • Experience managing teams of 200+ FTEs
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or process excellence frameworks is a plus
