Position: Senior Manager – Travel Operations
Experience: Min 8 + Years
Salary Range: Between 50K -80K (Flexible for highly qualified candidates)

- Lead and manage end-to-end travel operations, including domestic, international, marine, and corporate travel bookings.
- Ensure smooth and efficient operations of ticketing, reservations, visa processing, hotel bookings, car rentals, and forex coordination.
- Oversee a team of travel consultants and operations staff to ensure delivery of high-quality service.
- Implement cost-effective strategies, supplier negotiations, and optimize travel spend across business units.
- Manage client escalations and ensure timely resolution with a customer-first mindset.
- Collaborate with sales, accounts, and vendor teams to improve overall workflow efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to travel policies, compliance requirements, and SOPs.
- Drive team performance metrics and conduct regular performance reviews.
- Train, guide, and mentor junior staff and develop skill-building programs.
- Stay updated with industry trends, airline policies, GDS systems (Amadeus/Galileo/Sabre), and travel technologies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, or related field.
- 8–12 years of experience in the travel industry, with minimum 3–5 years in a managerial or team lead role.
- Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Sound understanding of travel policies, airline fare structures, ticketing rules, and vendor management.
- Ability to manage large travel volumes with high accuracy and speed.
Preferred Traits:
- Experience in corporate or marine travel operations is a plus.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and client servicing.
- Tech-savvy with working knowledge of CRM tools, travel ERPs, and MS Office.
