This role is a high-impact leadership position responsible for overseeing and optimizing a fully remote team of immigration paralegals delivering US-based legal support services. You will ensure operational excellence across case processing, client communication, and workflow management while maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and performance. Accountabilities
- Lead and manage a remote team of immigration paralegals, ensuring high performance, engagement, and adherence to company standards.
- Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-one sessions, and skip-level discussions to provide coaching, feedback, and performance alignment.
- Monitor case processing, petition submissions, and workflow trackers to ensure timely and accurate updates across all systems.
- Oversee escalation management, identify root causes, and implement preventive solutions to reduce recurring issues.
- Review client communications, tickets, and case updates to ensure SLA compliance and service quality standards.
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures, templates, and documentation standards across all team activities.
- Strengthen cross-functional collaboration with internal teams to improve workflow efficiency and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Track performance metrics, customer satisfaction levels, and operational KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
- Identify training needs, design learning initiatives, and support capability building within the team.
- Implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance productivity and accuracy.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an immigration paralegal.
- 3+ years of proven experience in operations management or team leadership roles.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Strong experience managing remote teams and driving performance in distributed environments.
- Solid understanding of immigration processes, case handling, and client service workflows.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a structured, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Experience with performance tracking tools, ticketing systems, and workflow management platforms.
