Amazon Worldwide Operations is the underlying fulfillment and customer service engine that ensures Amazon creates the same consistent, world-class customer experience every time. We are looking for high-potential, flexible, innovative, and forward-thinking professionals to join our India Operations team. Join the Operations team as an Area Manager. As Area Managers for our Easyship sites you will be responsible for direct people management experience in driving operational performance in a highly metric driven environment. You will also lead many process improvement projects, both for the site and the network, to drive enhancements in key shop floor metrics, viz. Quality, Cost and Delivery. One of your key responsibilities will also be development of your team members. You must be flexible to work weekends and/or overnight shifts regularly and to travel to seller nodes to launch, set up & monitor ES operations.
Key job responsibilities
2+ years of employee and performance management experience
Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, and/or holidays

- We have a 5-day work week but given the 7 days a week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs.
