The Operations Manager will oversee project execution and client communication, ensuring smooth delivery of interior design projects. This role involves managing project managers and site supervisors, providing clients with clear updates and walkthroughs, monitoring timelines, and resolving escalations quickly to maintain customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Client Communication & Project Updates

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding project progress.

- Provide stage-wise project walkthroughs, timelines, and milestone updates.

- Ensure transparency and professionalism in all client communications.

Project Oversight & Delivery

- Monitor project timelines and ensure teams are on track with deliverables.

- Push for timely completion of tasks while maintaining quality standards.

- Conduct regular reviews with project managers and site supervisors to align execution with client expectations.

Team Management

- Lead and mentor project managers and site supervisors, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities.

- Allocate resources effectively to meet project deadlines.

- Foster collaboration between design, procurement, and execution teams.

Escalation Handling & Problem Solving

- Act as the first responder to client or site escalations.

- Quickly analyze issues and provide practical solutions to minimize delays.

- Document escalations and resolutions for continuous improvement.

Operational Excellence

- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for project delivery.

- Track KPIs such as project completion rate, client satisfaction, and timeline adherence.

- Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or related field.

- 4+ years of experience in operations or project management, preferably in interior design, construction, or real estate.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

- Proven track record of handling client-facing roles and resolving escalations.

- Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Trello, Asana, ERP systems).
