DETAILS OF AVAILABILE POSITION

JOB TITLE:FLEET OPERATIONS MANAGER

POSTING AT:FUERZAA HEADQUARTERS, FINANCIAL DISTRICT

CITY:HYDERABAD, INDIA

SHIFT TIMING:08:30 AM to 05:45 PM (With 50 Mins Break)

LUNCH:Vegetarian Lunch Provided By the Company

WORK DAYS:Monday To Saturday

ON FIELD VISITS:Once in 45 days to every project, where the assets are deployed.

REPORTING TO:Board of CxO's, being a Profit Centre Manager

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS OF THE CANDIDATE

EDUCATION:Diploma / Mechanical Engineer

WORK EXPERIENCE :Minimum 8 Years (Only in handling Construction Equipment such as excavators, dumpers, compactors, paver, grader, crusher, concrete batching plant, hot mix plant etc.)

SPECIFIC EXPERIENCE:Construction Industry Is Preferred or should have worked in a Construction Equipment Dealer / Manufacturer

SKILLS:Should be comfortable to use GPS tracking systems, preventive maintenance software, fuel monitoring systems, MS Excel / ERP-based reporting.

BROADLY DEFINED KRAs (Key Responsibility Areas)

Key motive

To ensure high operational efficiency, cost control, and optimal utilization of about 90 construction equipment valued at approximately 30 Crore. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for the performance, maintenance, and profitability of the entire equipment fleet, with a goal to double the fleet size within three years through data-driven efficiency and asset management.

Equipment Operations & Monitoring

1.Oversee daily operation of all construction machinery and vehicles across projects.

2.Ensure minimum uptime of 28 days per month for every deployed asset.

3.Implement real-time GPS tracking and geofencing for monitoring location, usage, and safety compliance.

4.Review driver and operator behavior to improve operational discipline.

Fuel Management & Efficiency

1.Verify and approve diesel issuance and fuel consumption data with the records

2.Monitor fuel efficiency trends, investigate variances, and identify pilferage or misuse.

3.Maintain transparent reporting on diesel cost per equipment and project.

Maintenance & Repairs

1.Schedule and oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

2.Deploy and supervise mechanical staff for routine and emergency repairs.

3.Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and consumption tracking.

4.Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns to achieve desired uptime metrics.

5.Develop machine refurbishment plans for increasing the life of equipment.

Financial & Asset Performance

1.Prepare monthly comparison of revenue vs. expenses for each equipment.

2.Recommend repair, overhaul, or sale decisions based on cost-benefit analysis.

3.Assist management in preparing CAPEX and OPEX budgets for machinery.

Compliance & Documentation

1.Maintain all tax, insurance, and statutory records for equipment.

2.Track and renew insurance, road permits, and pollution certificates as applicable.

3.Ensure audit readiness of all machinery-related documentation.

Team & Vendor Management

1.Manage and motivate operators, drivers, and mechanics, ensuring adherence to SOPs.

2.Help to prepare rosters for deploying operators / drivers in single or double shift.

3.Coordinate with vendors and OEMs for spares, AMC, and warranty claims.

4.Conduct regular training sessions for operators and mechanical teams.

Strategic Growth Contribution

1.Identify performance improvement opportunities and implement efficiency tools.

2.Contribute towards achieving the company's goal of doubling the equipment fleet within 3 years through effective utilization and profitability improvement.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Fleet uptime 90%

Reduction in fuel variance/pilferage (should be lower than 0.5%)

Cost of maintenance vs. revenue ratio improvement

Timely preventive maintenance adherence

Increase in overall fleet ROI and productivity

Increase profitability to add more assets to the asset block

EXPECTED REMUNERATION / JOINING DATES FOR THE POSITION

COST TO COMPANY:Rs. 55,000- Rs. 65,000 Per Month

Rs. 6.60 to 7.80 Lakhs Per Annum

Upon achieving the KPIs Operational Efficiency Bonus of

upto Rs. 2 Lakhs per Annum i.e 25% of CTC.

EXPECTED JOINING DATE:15-02-2026

EXPECTED LANGUAGES:Hindi & English

MIN. EXPECTED TRAVEL:Once in 45 Days, or as required.

EG. IN 8 YEARS, YOU SHOULD HAVE ONLY WORKED IN 3 COMPANIES I.E. MORE THAN 2 YEARS IN A SINGLE COMPANY.
