Reporting To: Founder / Business Head

Role Overview

The Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end operational management of Baghsheen's franchise network. This role requires ownership of procurement, logistics, franchise setup, inventory management, SOP creation, and daily operational execution.

The ideal candidate will combine hands-on operational management with the ability to design scalable processes and systems to support rapid franchise expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and manage complete franchise operations across locations
  • Plan and manage raw material procurement including seeds, consumables, tools, and setup materials
  • Identify, onboard, and manage vendors and suppliers
  • Ensure timely logistics, dispatch, and transportation of materials to franchise locations
  • Oversee franchise setup execution, including installation, layout readiness, and production onboarding
  • Coordinate with design and setup teams for rack layouts, grow room configuration, and production-house setup
  • Act as the primary point of contact for franchise caretakers
  • Guide franchise teams on:
  • Seed quantity planning
  • Growing cycle schedules
  • Daily maintenance and hygiene protocols
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across all franchise locations
  • Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly operational compliance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and process gaps
  • Design, document, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Build scalable, repeatable operational models for future franchise rollouts
  • Continuously optimize workflows for cost, efficiency, and quality control
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Agriculture, or related field (preferred)
  • 48 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or franchise management
  • Experience in food, agri, FMCG, or fresh produce operations is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability to manage multi-location operations
  • Experience in SOP creation and process optimization
