Role Description
We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead our event operations strategies and ensure the flawless execution of events. This full-time, on-site role is based in Mumbai. Key responsibilities include planning and coordinating event logistics, managing vendor relationships, supervising on-site operations, allocating resources efficiently, and ensuring events align with client expectations and company standards.
- Understand project briefs from the BD and CS teams and effectively communicate the requirements to the Operations team.
- Identify, manage, and evaluate vendors to ensure that they meet cost, quality, and timeline requirements.
- Coordinate vendor billing and collaborate with the accounts department to ensure timely processing.
- Address and resolve client and CS queries promptly to maximize client satisfaction and gather valuable feedback.
- Oversee the design, execution, and production processes, ensuring that they align precisely with client specifications.
- Maintain brand consistency across all event deliverables, from concept to execution.
- Prepare cost estimates, develop project plans, and manage budgets to ensure events are executed within financial constraints.
- Conduct thorough post-event evaluations to assess event success and identify areas for improvement.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize efficiency and reduce costs where possible.
Essential Skill Set:
- Experience in event operations or related roles.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage vendors and handle budgeting.
- Willingness to travel (PAN India).
- Stability under pressure – reacts well to change and stays positive despite setbacks.
