Job Description
Location: Bangalore (travel to states as required)
Experience: 5–8 years
Employment Type: Full-Time
About The Role
We are a political consultancy working across multiple states in India. We are building a central campaign team based in Bangalore that supports election and political campaigns across the country. We are looking for an operations Manager to be the backbone of this team — someone who keeps multiple high-stakes workstreams running simultaneously, coordinates travel and deployments to states and ensures every campaign brief is tracked and delivered on time.
This is not a passive coordination role. The right person has strong judgment, knows how to push back when needed, and can manage competing demands from multiple internal teams without losing their cool.
Key Responsibilities
Own the campaign brief intake system — ensure all incoming requests are complete, assign them to the right teams, and track every deliverable against its deadline
Manage priority allocation across multiple simultaneous campaigns and resolve conflicts when state teams compete for resources
Build and maintain a rolling travel calendar — coordinate all state deployments, book logistics, manage per diems, and liaise with on-ground contacts in each state
Chair the weekly coordination standup with all state team representatives
Manage vendor relationships — production houses, print vendors, freelance overflow — including contracts and purchase orders
Maintain the team's shared project management system and keep it current in real time
Produce a fortnightly operations report for senior leadership covering capacity, pipeline, and delivery status
Handle HR coordination and onboarding for new team members joining the central team
Required Skills & Experience
5–8 years of operations or project management experience in an agency, media company, consultancy, or campaign environment
Strong command of project management tools — Asana, Monday.com, Notion, or equivalent
Proven ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams without losing detail
Confident communicator — able to manage upward, laterally, and with demanding external stakeholders
Experience managing travel logistics and vendor coordination at scale
Comfortable operating under pressure with shifting priorities
Fluency in English and Hindi; working knowledge of a regional language is an advantage
Experience in political campaigns, government, public affairs, or election management is strongly preferred
