Role Overview
As an
Operations Lead in Amazon Fresh (a part of Amazon's Global Specialty Fulfillment or GSF team), you'll take ownership of
last-mile delivery station operations. You'll manage outbound operations across one or more fulfillment sites, ensuring
on-time delivery,
quality,
safety, and
customer satisfaction. You'll supervise associates and delivery partners, implement best practices, and escalate when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily ownership of end-to-end last-mile operations
- Deliver on customer-facing metrics while meeting cost and safety targets
- Lead and coach a team of associates: training, performance management, and motivation
- Conduct 4M and 5S audits to ensure workplace organization and operational effectiveness
- Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager, including managing shifts throughout the day
- Partner with 3P delivery providers to ensure compliance with Amazon standards
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1+ year of experience in:
- Customer-facing environments
- Warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing
- Fluent in English (spoken and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, delivery ops, or manufacturing
- Strong process orientation and ability to manage KPIs
- Hands-on leadership style with ability to work flexible shifts (day/night)
