The operations professional will be responsible for managing end-to-end procurement, vendor management, asset management, and overall operational activities of the organization. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, cost optimization, efficient vendor coordination, and effective asset lifecycle management while supporting business continuity and growth.
Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include
- Procurement management:
- Manage end-to-end procurement of goods and services including IT hardware, software licenses, office supplies, and infrastructure
- Collect, compare, negotiate, and finalize vendor quotations within approved budgets
- Create purchase orders, track approvals, and follow up on deliveries
- Coordinate and manage shipment of materials and assets within India and internationally including the United States
- Handle logistics activities including packing, dispatch, courier or freight selection, shipment tracking, and delivery confirmation
- Coordinate with logistics partners, freight forwarders, courier services, and customs agents to ensure compliant deliveries
- Ensure proper documentation for domestic and international shipments including invoices, packing lists, and shipping labels
- Optimize costs through strategic sourcing and logistics planning
- Vendor management:
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendors and their performance
- Maintain vendor master records and agreements
- Verify invoices and coordinate with finance teams for timely payments
- Handle vendor escalations and ensure service-level compliance
- Asset management:
- Procure, tag, allocate, and track assets across their lifecycle
- Maintain asset registers and conduct periodic physical verification
- Manage asset issuance, return, repair, replacement, and disposal processes
- Office & operations management:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations including facilities, housekeeping, utilities, and security
- Arrange travel, cab, accommodation, and food requirements
- Support campus drives, audits, meetings, and company events
- Operations reporting & MIS:
- Maintain procurement, vendor, asset, and expense trackers
- Prepare periodic MIS and management reports
- Coordinate with finance and PMO teams for cost mapping and reporting
- Compliance & coordination:
- Ensure adherence to internal policies and contractual or statutory requirements
- Coordinate cross-functionally with HR, finance, IT, and PMO teams
- Provide documentation support for audits and management reviews
