Key Responsibilities
As an Operations Intern for an ecommerce portal, you support the end-to-end functioning of procurement activities on the platform. Your responsibilities typically include:
- Assisting with vendor and product onboarding by verifying documents, product specifications, and compliance requirements.
- Managing catalogue updates, including creation, modification, and categorisation of products/services on the ecommerce portal.
- Monitoring purchase requests, bid progress, and order processing to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinating with buyers and sellers to resolve issues related to listings, pricing, order fulfilment, or payment status.
- Ensuring adherence to procurement policies and guidelines.
- Preparing daily/weekly reports on procurement activities, order status, and operational metrics.
- Supporting internal teams with data analysis, process optimization, and workflow documentation.
What are we looking for
- Currently pursuing/ Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field
- Born negotiator with a curiosity for market trends.
- Excel-friendly
- Motivated self-starter with initiative and proactive spirit.
