Job Description

Key Responsibilities

As an Operations Intern for an ecommerce portal, you support the end-to-end functioning of procurement activities on the platform. Your responsibilities typically include:

  • Assisting with vendor and product onboarding by verifying documents, product specifications, and compliance requirements.
  • Managing catalogue updates, including creation, modification, and categorisation of products/services on the ecommerce portal.
  • Monitoring purchase requests, bid progress, and order processing to ensure timely completion.
  • Coordinating with buyers and sellers to resolve issues related to listings, pricing, order fulfilment, or payment status.
  • Ensuring adherence to procurement policies and guidelines.
  • Preparing daily/weekly reports on procurement activities, order status, and operational metrics.
  • Supporting internal teams with data analysis, process optimization, and workflow documentation.

What are we looking for

  • Currently pursuing/Bachelor's in Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, or a related field
  • Born negotiator with a curiosity for market trends.
  • Excel-friendly
  • Motivated self-starter with initiative and proactive spirit.
