Key Responsibilities
- Production & Planning
- Coordinate with manufacturing partners and internal teams to align production schedules with sales forecasts.
- Monitor production progress to ensure on-time completion and dispatch readiness.
- Track and manage finished goods availability for various sales channels (B2B and e-commerce).
- Inventory Management
- Maintain optimal stock levels across warehouses and distribution points.
- Track SKU-wise inventory, reconcile physical vs. system stocks, and reduce slow-moving inventory.
- Support cycle counts, stock audits, and data accuracy initiatives.
- Warehouse Operations
- Implement and monitor warehouse KPIs: accuracy, turnaround time, and storage efficiency.
- Coordinate with 3PL partners to ensure compliance with SOPs and service level agreements.
- Logistics & Distribution
- Manage end-to-end order fulfillment, including coordination with courier, transport, and 3PL partners.
- Optimize dispatch planning and route efficiency to minimize delivery time and cost.
- Track shipments and ensure timely deliveries to distributors, retailers, and e-commerce customers.
- Data, Systems & Reporting
- Maintain accurate data in ERP/WMS systems (SAP, Zoho, Unicommerce, or similar).
- Prepare and analyze weekly/monthly MIS reports: stock status, dispatch summary, OTIF (On-Time-In-Full), and lead times.
- Identify and highlight bottlenecks or process gaps and recommend improvements.
- Continuous Improvement
- Support automation and process improvement projects in logistics and warehousing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Customer Service to ensure smooth operations.
- Champion sustainability initiatives in packaging, logistics, and waste reduction.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Commerce.
- 35 years of experience in supply chain or logistics operations (preferably in FMCG, D2C, or consumer goods).
- Strong understanding of warehouse management, logistics, and order fulfillment processes.
- Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/WMS platforms.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
