Summary:
As an Operations Engineer, you will support and manage the delivery of production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreements. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the systems and providing timely support to resolve any issues. Your role will involve monitoring system performance, troubleshooting technical problems, and implementing solutions to optimize system performance and reliability. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of services and contribute to process improvement initiatives.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Independence and Expertise: Expected to perform independently and become a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
- Team Collaboration: Actively participate and contribute to team discussions, offering solutions to work-related problems.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system performance and ensure the smooth functioning of production systems.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot technical problems, providing timely support and resolving issues efficiently.
- Optimization: Implement solutions to optimize system performance and reliability.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of services.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to initiatives aimed at improving operational processes and system efficiency.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills:
- Proficiency in NetApp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration: Strong hands-on experience managing and maintaining NetApp storage systems.
- SAN Architecture and Design: Knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) architecture, design principles, and best practices.
- Storage Protocols: Familiarity with storage protocols such as Fibre Channel and iSCSI.
- Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues in a timely manner.
- Storage Solutions: Experience in implementing storage solutions and optimizing storage performance.
Additional Information:
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in NetApp Storage Area Network (SAN) Administration.
- Education: A graduate in any discipline is required.
