Project Role : Operations Engineer

Project Role Description : Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.

Summary:

As an Operations Engineer, a typical day involves overseeing the smooth functioning of production systems and services, ensuring they meet operational requirements and service agreements. This role requires continuous monitoring, managing delivery processes, and promptly addressing any issues that arise to maintain system reliability and performance. Collaboration with various teams to coordinate operational activities and support service continuity is a key aspect of the daily routine, along with documenting processes and contributing to improvements in operational workflows.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
  • Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
  • Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
  • Monitor and manage the delivery of production systems to ensure compliance with service agreements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and improve system performance.
  • Document operational procedures and maintain accurate records to support service continuity.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process optimization and automation to enhance operational efficiency.

Professional & Technical Skills:

  • Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Application Packaging.
  • Experience with software deployment and configuration management processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues effectively.
  • Ability to work with various operating systems and understand system dependencies.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and incident management practices.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Additional Information:

  • The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Application Packaging.
  • This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
  • A 15 years full time education is required.
