Role Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible
Associate HR Operations to manage core HR activities including compliance, attendance, vendor coordination, data management, and support in audits and employee engagement. The role demands accuracy, accountability, and the ability to function as both a
maker and checker in operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Attendance & Workforce Management
- Monitor and manage attendance for on-roll and off-roll employees.
- Coordinate with vendors for accurate data inputs.
- Reconcile attendance records with wage sheets and payroll systems.
- Wage Sheet & Invoice Verification
- Review and validate wage sheets and third-party invoices.
- Act as a maker and checker to ensure accuracy and policy adherence.
- Liaise with Finance for timely processing and issue resolution.
- Vendor Management
- Oversee vendor relationships, ensuring service compliance and timely documentation.
- Track vendor performance and resolve operational issues.
- Ensure vendor adherence to labour laws and contract terms.
- Data Management
- Maintain accurate HR databases and records (digital and physical).
- Handle employee master data updates, contract renewals, and file organization.
- Ensure data accuracy for audits, compliance, and reporting.
- Policy Development & Implementation
- Assist in drafting and updating HR policies and SOPs.
- Ensure policy awareness and implementation across departments.
- Maintain policy documentation and version control.
- Compliance & Statutory Support
- Maintain statutory registers and ensure timely filing (PF, ESI, etc.).
- Support audit readiness and compliance reporting.
- Stay informed of relevant labour law changes.
- Audit & Internal Controls
- Prepare for internal/external audits with proper documentation.
- Function as a maker and checker for compliance-related records.
- Ensure proper recordkeeping as per statutory and company norms.
- Employee Engagement & HR Support
- Support execution of engagement and welfare activities.
- Address basic employee queries and assist in onboarding/offboarding.
- Support all general HR operations tasks as needed.
Key Skills Required
- Strong command of Excel, HRMS tools, and data accuracy
- Experience in data management, reporting, and documentation
- Working knowledge of labour laws and HR compliance
- Experience with vendor management and third-party coordination
- Familiarity with policy drafting and implementation
- Ability to perform with accuracy as a maker and checker
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Qualifications
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Human Resources or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of experience in HR operations, compliance, and data handling
- Exposure to plant-based, logistics, or manufacturing environments preferred
