Brand: ulo Icecream

Location: Salary: 40,000 55,000 (Fixed) + Performance-Based Incentives

Schedule: 6-Day Work Week (Must be reachable for emergencies outside of work hours and will be compensated with adequate rest)

The Role

ulo is an ice cream startup with a production kitchen and a focus on retail excellence. We are seeking a highly autonomous Operations & Growth Manager to lead our current location and spearhead our retail expansion.

This role requires a candidate who can operate as the de facto Lead of the business, making critical decisions regarding infrastructure, staffing, and growth without daily supervision.

Core Responsibilities

1. Technical Operations & Infrastructure

Facility Maintenance: Direct oversight of kitchen operations and down time - power systems, commercial plumbing, and specialized production machinery (Pasteurizers, Pumps, Aging Vats).

SOP Compliance: Strict adherence to and enforcement of daily checklists for hygiene, batch consistency, and machine maintenance.

2. Retail Expansion & Strategy

Scaling Operations: Identify and scout new retail locations, oversee the setup of new kiosks/stores, and ensure a seamless launch.

Team Leadership: Full authority over the recruitment, training, and performance management (including termination) of all store and production staff.

Inventory Control: Conduct daily physical audits and coordinate with the Accounts department to trigger procurement and prevent stock-outs.

3. Business Growth

Drive top-line revenue by establishing new B2B partnerships and managing high-value event catering contracts.

Candidate Profile

Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Hospitality Management, QSR Operations, or Food Production.

Technical Proficiency: You must be hands-on. Understanding electrical phases and plumbing layouts is essential to managing our technical facility.

Executive Presence: Ability to represent the brand to vendors, staff, and B2B clients independently.

Digital Literacy: Proficient in POS software, inventory management apps, and Excel/Google Sheets.

Salary: Competitive fixed pay of 40k 55k based on experience.
