Job Description:

The opportunity:

Support Supply Chain Procurement team in day to day activities and collaborate with suppliers to expedite the delivery of components for Germany Service Centre.

How you'll make an impact:

  • You will be responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services as per the standard process workflow.

  • You will be creating purchase orders and ensuring they are accurate and timely, transmit POs to suppliers and Expedites delivery when needed/ requested. You will be monitoring inventory levels and ensuring timely reordering of suppliers.

  • You will assure that relevant systems are updated with procurement data, such as supplier, price, payment terms and other conditions.

  • You will be evaluating the quality of goods received and ensuring they meet specifications, follow up with PM and warehouse team to ensure GRN done in time.

  • You will address and resolve the grief invoices and ensure on time payment, maintain supplier relationships and resolve any issues that may arise.

  • You will be collaborating with other departments, such as Project Management, Technical, logistics, and finance to ensure smooth operations.

  • You will resolve conflicts proactively and if needed escalate, seek help from Team lead or Management to ensure progress is on track.

  • You will adhere to the Supply Chain management processes in the organization, ensure Hitachi Energy integrity guidelines are followed in the team, ensure IS security policy followed in the team and Act as role model for the team.

  • You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

  • You hold a bachelor's degree.

  • Knowledge of ERP system and P2P process.

  • Hands on experience of working with SAP MM module.

  • Very good knowledge & experience working with MS office tools.

  • Ability to work under pressure to manage customer expectations.

  • Should possess strong communications & negotiation skills to convince customers stakeholders.

  • Excellent skills in Speaking, Reading and writing English language, German Basic language is added advantage.
