Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and maintenance at ONGC sites to reduce downtime and improve work efficiency.
  • Coordination with site Engineers & Technicians for daily updates of consumables, tools, equipment, etc.
  • Remotely managing the operation parameters and equipment health status.
  • Plan and carry out maintenance work (regular, predictive, and emergency) as per the contract.
  • Single point of contact for offshore account.
  • Lead the setup, execution, and closing of the repair or overhauling works as per the timeline and budget.
  • Provide technical support for installing, running, maintaining, and fixing equipment.
  • Read and understand technical drawings and manuals (P&IDs, SLDs, etc.).
  • Daily, weekly and monthly reports.
  • Ensuring billing documents for monthly billing on time.
  • Regular offshore visits for technical audits and generation of more business.
  • Ensure timely delivery of tools, consumable and materials to make smooth operation.
  • Ensuring proper maintenance and not breakdowns.
  • Preparing part life cycle replacement plan for each equipment.
  • Make sure all safety rules and quality standards are always followed.
  • Lead and guide a team of engineers and workers; manage tools, parts, and vendors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education :B.E. or M. Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
  • Experience:7 10 years of experience in maintenance and operations, mainly in oil & gas industries.
  • Experience in managing service contracts of offshore.
