The team focuses on driving operational excellence across order flow, inventory control, vendor coordination, and customer experience in a remote-first environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily e-commerce operations by monitoring order pipelines, verifying fulfillment SLAs, and resolving exceptions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Coordinate with sellers, warehouses, and logistics partners to track inventory movements, reconcile stock discrepancies, and expedite urgent shipments.
- Own routine process tasksorder allocation, returns processing, and labeling workflowswhile maintaining accurate records in order management systems.
- Prepare and maintain operational dashboards and performance reports; highlight trends, root causes, and recommended corrective actions.
- Document and update SOPs for core workflows, implement small process improvements, and participate in cross-functional improvement initiatives.
- Act as an escalation point for customer and partner issues; liaise with customer support to close cases and improve first-contact resolution.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Business/Commerce/Logistics/Engineering program or related field.
- Practical skills with MS Excel and Google Sheets for data tracking, pivot tables, and basic formulas.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and order management processes (OMS, SKU management, fulfillment workflows).
- Experience coordinating with vendors, warehouses, or logistics providers in a commercial setting or internship project.
- Comfortable working remotely with asynchronous communication tools and meeting tight SLAs.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a bias for process documentation and continuous improvement.
Preferred
- Hands-on exposure to Shopify/Magento or marketplace seller portals (Amazon/Flipkart seller dashboards).
- Basic SQL or data-querying experience for ad-hoc reporting and dashboard support.
- Prior remote internship in e-commerce operations, supply chain, or logistics coordination.
