About The Opportunity

We operate in the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Insurance Services sector, delivering end-to-end policy servicing, claims processing, and customer support to insurers and distribution partners. This on-site role in India supports high-volume, quality-driven insurance operations with strict SLA adherence and customer-first outcomes.

Primary Title: Insurance Operations Specialist (English)

Role & Responsibilities

  • Process end-to-end insurance transactionspolicy issuance, endorsements, renewals, and claimsusing assigned policy and claims systems.
  • Handle inbound/outbound customer and insurer communications in clear, professional English via phone, email, and ticketing platforms.
  • Perform document verification, KYC checks, and data-entry with high accuracy to meet compliance and audit standards.
  • Manage caseloads to meet SLA and TAT targets; escalate complex cases to underwriters or senior operations as required.
  • Reconcile policy and claim records, identify discrepancies, and coordinate corrective actions with internal teams.
  • Contribute to process-improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date case notes and operational documentation.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
  • Prior experience in insurance operations, claims processing, or policy administration
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms and policy/claims management systems
  • Strong MS Excel skills (data entry, basic formulas, filtering)
  • Experience with KYC and document verification processes
  • Proven ability to meet SLA and TAT targets in a high-volume environment

Preferred

  • Familiarity with Guidewire or similar policy/claims administration platforms
  • Insurance certification or diploma (e.g., CII/IRDA awareness)
  • Experience working on-site in a BPO/shared-services setup
