Job Description

The SAP VIM & Vendor Portal Functional Consultant is responsible for gathering requirements, designing, configuring, and implementing SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Vendor Portal solutions. The role includes integration, testing, support, and post-implementation training to automate Accounts Payable processes.

Key Responsibilities

Business Requirements

Conduct requirements gathering workshops with business and functional users
Understand as-is Accounts Payable processes and define the to-be automated process for SAP VIM and Vendor Portal

Analysis & Design

Analyze business requirements and design best-practice SAP VIM solutions
Ensure alignment with customer requirements and system capabilities

Configuration & Customization

Configure SAP VIM settings, workflows, document types, and data capture
Configure Archive Center and IC4S
Coordinate with ABAP developers for customization requirements
Support SAP Basis consultants for add-on installation

Integration

Collaborate with Vendor Portal teams for SAP-VIM integration
Ensure seamless flow of data between SAP VIM and Vendor Portal

Testing & Cutover

Prepare testing scenarios, scripts, and perform functional and UAT testing
Support UAT defect resolution and cutover strategies
Provide issue resolution post Go-Live

Support & Documentation

Provide hypercare support, issue resolution, and end-user training
Maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, workflows, and integrations
Perform regular assessments of SAP VIM systems

Required Experience & Qualifications

Proven experience in SAP VIM and Vendor Portal implementation
Hands-on configuration of SAP workflows, document types, and data capture
Knowledge of SAP Archive Center, IC4S, and SAP Add-on installations
Experience with integration between SAP VIM and Vendor Portal
Strong testing and cutover experience, including UAT support
Familiarity with SAP FI/Accounts Payable processes
