Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an OpenStack Specialist located in Delhi, OH. The OpenStack Specialist will oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of OpenStack infrastructure. Responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolving system issues, implementing best practices for security and performance, managing cloud resources, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient cloud-based solutions. The role requires excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to stay updated with advancements in OpenStack technologies and related tools.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of OpenStack architecture, deployment, and maintenance
- Proficiency in Linux system administration, shell scripting, and virtualization technologies
- Experience with networking concepts, including SDN, VLANs, and firewalls
- Knowledge of monitoring and automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or equivalent
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a dynamic environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Prior experience in cloud computing or similar technologies is a plus
