We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader for our Surgery and IPDRG department. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in surgical healthcare management, and will be responsible for leading a dedicated team to ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance and implement improvements as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Conduct training and development for team members to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Manage inventory and resources efficiently to support surgical operations.
- Engage with patients and their families to provide support and information during the surgical process.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Medicine, or a related field.
- 5-9 years of experience in a surgical environment or healthcare management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of surgical procedures and patient care standards.
- Familiarity with IPDRG (Inpatient Diagnosis Related Groups) coding and billing processes.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and make quick decisions.
- Proficient in using healthcare management software and electronic medical records (EMR).
