Job Description:
We are looking for a PLC/DCS Testing Engineer with hands-on experience in industrial automation systems testing, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning of control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and automated testing of PLC/DCS systems
- Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)
- Support installation and commissioning of control/safety systems
- Validate system functionality for industrial automation and safety-critical environments
- Perform system, functional, and integration testing
- Work with communication protocols like Modbus, TCP/IP, OPC, Serial IO
- Ensure compliance with testing methodologies, configuration management, and traceability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Required Skills:
- Hands-on experience with PLC/DCS systems testing
- Exposure to tools/systems like:
- Foxboro / Honeywell / ABB / Yokogawa (DCS)
- Triconex / HIMA / FSC / Modicon (PLC)
- Experience in FAT, SAT, and commissioning
- Knowledge of real-time embedded / safety-critical systems
- Understanding of industrial communication protocols
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Good to Have:
- Experience in automation scripting
- Knowledge of formal testing methodologies (SDLC/STLC)
- Exposure to high integrity / safety systems
