Role Summary
We are looking for a highly experienced Technical Delivery Lead /Delivery Manager with strong technical expertise in .NET, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET and deep domain exposure to the International Insurance industry – specifically Wholesale / Commercial Insurance.
The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end delivery ownership, client relationship management, project governance, team leadership and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple client engagements.
Key Responsibilities
1. Delivery & Program Management
- Own end-to-end delivery of large, complex technology programs for International Insurance clients.
- Manage project planning, execution, risk management, resource allocation and financials.
- Ensure delivery commitments on scope, schedule, cost, and quality.
- Establish delivery governance, reporting mechanisms, KPIs, and metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement and delivery excellence.
2. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary delivery contact for international clients in the Wholesale / Commercial Insurance/Insurance domain.
- Build long-term strategic relationships with CXO / Senior stakeholders.
- Lead project reviews, steering committee meetings, and executive presentations.
- Identify opportunities for account growth, upsell / cross-sell.
3. Technical Leadership – .NET Stack
- Provide technical oversight across:
- .NET / .NET Core / C# / ASP.NET / Web API
- Microservices & Cloud-based architectures
- SQL Server / Azure / CI-CD pipelines
- Guide teams on best practices, coding standards, architecture, and performance optimization.
- Work closely with Solution Architects to define scalable technical solutions.
4. Team Leadership & People Management
- Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams (Engineering Managers, Tech Leads, Developers, QA).
- Drive performance management, career growth, training and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership and innovation.
5. Insurance Domain Leadership
- Provide domain direction on:
- Wholesale / Commercial Insurance processes
- Policy Administration, Underwriting, Rating, Claims, Bordereaux, Broker integrations
- Translate business needs into technical delivery roadmaps.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience
- 10+ years in IT with at least 5+ years in Delivery / Program Management role/Tech Lead.
- Proven experience working with International Insurance clients, especially in Wholesale / Commercial Insurance.
- Experience managing large programs with teams of 20+ members.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on or oversight experience with:
- .NET, .NET Core, C#, ASP.NET, Web API
- Microservices, RESTful services, Terraform, Microsoft Architecture
- SQL Server / Azure / Cloud environments
- Agile / Scrum delivery models
Domain Expertise
- Deep understanding of:
- Wholesale / Commercial Insurance lifecycle
- Underwriting, Policy Issuance, Endorsements, Renewals, Claims
- Broker / MGA integrations, Bordereaux management
Leadership & Communication
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong financial acumen – budgeting, forecasting, margin management.
- Ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP / Prince2 / SAFe / Agile certifications.
- Exposure to US / UK / European Insurance markets.
