Job Description:
We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect to define end-to-end IT solutions that align with the company's IT strategy and business objectives. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, IT teams, and project managers to design solutions that are functional, secure, scalable, and cost-effective. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial services, particularly insurance, and experience leading large-scale IT transformation projects.
Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end IT solutions for IT change and transformation projects.
- Develop functional, non-functional, service, and security designs.
- Ensure solutions align with the company's IT strategy and architectural roadmap.
- Comply with design standards, governance, and best practices.
- Engage with business stakeholders (e.g., business sponsors, enterprise architects, PMs, BAs) to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions.
- Present and support solution designs in business-friendly language, explaining strategy, costs, benefits, and constraints.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple projects in the insurance domain.
- Balance long-term technology strategy with short-term project requirements.
- Offer technical guidance to project teams and ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Support the development of business cases and influence key design decisions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect, particularly in insurance and financial services.
- Expertise in leading and delivering large-scale solutions for financial services clients.
- Strong understanding of IT methodologies, Agile frameworks, and project lifecycle management.
- Excellent solution design and technical architecture skills.
- Broad technical expertise with the ability to apply it across various business scenarios or deep domain specialization (e.g., Infrastructure, Business Intelligence, Pensions).
- Financial acumen to support business case development and decision-making.
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.
- Effective communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business language.
