Role Summary

The Online Software Business Analyst serves as a strategic liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that software solutions meet business objectives in a digital-first environment. This role is pivotal in translating business needs into actionable requirements for cloud-based platforms, SaaS tools, and agile development teams.

Must have skills:

The technical skillset will be the same for all tools subject to having the OBT knowledge.

Technical ability on Concur, GetThere, Cytric and Serko OBTs

Be technically capable to build the Perfect PNR/File Finishing to GBTs set standards

To test and validate work to ensure end to end system integration

To be able to work independently but with support from Product Managers

To be able to work with vendor partners and cross functional teams

Individuals will be expected to work remotely

Key Role and Responsibilities (What would you like the candidate to do)

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

o Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.

o Translate business needs into user stories, wireframes, and functional specifications.

o To be able to work independently but with support from Product Managers

o To be able to work with vendor partners and cross functional teams

o Individuals will be expected to work remotely

Process Mapping

o Document end-to-end workflows for online platforms, including customer journeys, system integrations, and data flows (when required).

Solution Design & Validation

o Partner with architecture and development teams to design scalable, cloud-native solutions.

o To test and validate work to ensure end-to-end system integration.

Stakeholder Engagement

o Act as a bridge between business units and IT, ensuring clear communication and alignment.

o Facilitate workshops and feedback sessions to refine requirements.

Agile & Remote Collaboration

o Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.

o Use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Miro to manage remote collaboration.

Documentation & Reporting

o Maintain comprehensive documentation including process flows, acceptance criteria, and change logs.

o Provide regular updates to stakeholders on progress, risks, and dependencies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Education or Training Information Technology, or related field.

37 years of experience in business analysis, preferably in software or SaaS environments like Concur and GetThere.

Specific knowledge of products like concur ,Citric,GetThere,Deem and Seriko

Skills Must have: concur

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and digital product lifecycles.

Proficiency in tools like Jira, MS Office.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
