Online Coding Mentor (US Shift)

Role Description

This is a part-time remote role for an Online Coding Mentor (US Shift, 3:30AM - 8:30AM ONLY). The mentor will be responsible for teaching coding concepts to students through interactive online sessions, guiding and evaluating their progress, and providing constructive feedback. Additional responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, assisting students in problem-solving, and fostering an engaging and supportive online learning environment. The role requires availability during U.S. time zones to accommodate students based in that region.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in programming languages Python, Java, or Web Development
• Experience in teaching or mentoring, particularly in an online or remote environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and inspire young learners
• Ability to deliver interactive, hands-on lesson plans
• Students are NOT eligible for this role
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or a related field is preferred
