Position: Online Business Manager (OBM) US Shift / Remote (India)
About The Opportunity
We are hiring a proactive Online Business Manager to run day-to-day operations, streamline business systems and lead remote teams during US business hours. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented operations leader who thrives in high-growth, fully remote environments and can translate strategy into repeatable processes, reliable delivery and measurable KPIs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations and project delivery across remote teamsset priorities, assign work, and ensure timely completion for US-shift schedules.
- Design, document, and maintain SOPs, playbooks and workflows to improve efficiency, consistency and scale.
- Implement and own business systems: task management, CRM, billing and reporting; drive automation using Zapier and other integrators.
- Monitor performance using KPIs and dashboards; produce weekly/monthly reports and recommend process improvements to leadership.
- Coordinate vendor and contractor onboarding, scopes, deliverables and payments to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Serve as the primary liaison for US-based stakeholders during the shiftmanage communications, escalate issues and ensure client satisfaction.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Proven experience as an Online Business Manager, Virtual Operations Manager or similar in remote-first organisations.
- Strong track record of running Asana or equivalent project-management platforms for distributed teams.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Zapier) and integrating SaaS systems to reduce manual work.
- Operational finance familiarity: invoicing, expense reconciliation and QuickBooks or equivalent bookkeeping experience.
- Comfort managing CRM workflowsHubSpot or similarand producing actionable reports from data.
- Excellent written English and ability to work US shift (overnight/early-morning IST) with reliable internet and remote-work setup.
Preferred
- Experience with Notion for knowledge management or ClickUp for advanced task orchestration.
- Familiarity with Stripe, Xero or other payment platforms and subscription billing models.
- Background in scaling digital service businesses, marketplaces or agencies.
