Description
Were building a product from the ground up and need a pragmatic, hands-on Frontend Engineer who can translate product requirements into performant, maintainable, and delightful user experiences.
Youll own UI architecture, ship high-quality code, iterate quickly with the team, and help shape the front-end engineering culture.
What You Will Do
- Own feature delivery end-to-end: understand requirements, design client-side architecture, implement, and iterate.
- Write clean, reusable, high-performance JavaScript code thats well-tested and easy to maintain.
- Prototype quickly, validate ideas, and iterate using a try-fast / fail-fast / learn-fast mindset.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and responsiveness.
- Collaborate closely with product, design, backend engineers, and QA to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Keep codebase quality high: enforce best practices, reviews, linting, and component-driven development.
- Stay current with industry trends and bring forward improvements to tooling, architecture and developer experience.
Must-have Requirements
- B.Sc / M.Sc / M.Tech / M.S in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 3- 5 years of solid, hands-on experience building production-grade web applications.
- Extensive experience in modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- Practical experience building projects with one or more frameworks : React, Next.js, Vue.js.
- Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and accessibility fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming, core Data Structures, and Algorithms able to reason about complexity and trade-offs.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Good-to-have (Nice-to-have)
- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and static-site generation (SSG) using Next.js.
- Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Zustand, Pinia, Vuex) and component libraries/design systems.
- Experience with TypeScript in large codebases.
- Knowledge of performance profiling, code-splitting, lazy-loading, and web vitals optimization.
- Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
- Experience integrating with REST/GraphQL backends.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, code linting, and frontend build tooling (Webpack, Vite).
- Experience working with design systems and component-driven development (Storybook).
