The Role
We're looking for an experienced Oncologist to join our growing team at our Banashankari clinic. You'll work alongside leading specialists including surgical oncologists, pediatric oncologists, and hematologists in a setting designed around patient comfort and clinical excellence.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with various oncological and hematological conditions
- Develop personalized treatment plans including chemotherapy protocols, immunotherapy, and targeted therapy
- Collaborate with our multidisciplinary team (surgical oncologists, hematologists, pathologists, radiologists) for comprehensive case management
- Conduct OPD consultations and oversee day-care chemotherapy administration
- Counsel patients and families with empathy and clarity on treatment options, prognosis, and supportive care
- Stay current with advances in oncology and contribute to the clinic's commitment to evidence-based care
- Participate in tumor board discussions and case reviews
Qualifications
- MBBS with MD/DNB (Medicine) and DM (Medical Oncology) or equivalent
- MCI/NMC registration (mandatory)
- Minimum 35 years of post-DM clinical experience preferred
- Experience with chemotherapy administration, targeted therapy, and immunotherapy protocols
- Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach
- Prior experience in a day clinic or outpatient oncology setting is a plus
