Okta Developer

We are seeking a skilled Okta Developer to manage identity and access management (IAM) solutions, implement secure authentication workflows, and support full-stack application development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Okta configurations, backend integrations, and modern web technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure, manage, and maintain Okta identity and access management solutions.
• Implement authentication workflows, SSO, and user provisioning in line with security best practices.
• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using React, NodeJS, Drupal, and related technologies.
• Write and maintain backend APIs and GraphQL services for integration with Okta and other systems.
• Participate in Agile development teams, contributing to Scrum or Kanban processes.
• Support DevOps activities such as CI/CD pipeline automation, using tools like Jenkins and Terraform.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and implement IAM solutions.
• Assist in troubleshooting, debugging, and enhancing existing Okta and application configurations.
• Maintain documentation of identity management processes, workflows, and integrations.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on Okta administration and configuration, or 5+ years with other IAM tools.
• Strong full-stack development experience (React, NodeJS, Drupal, APIs, GraphQL).
• Proficiency in JavaScript or Python for backend and scripting tasks.
• Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum preferred, Kanban acceptable).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools such as Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform.
• Experience using project tracking tools such as Jira.

Preferred Skills:

• Okta Professional or Okta Developer Certification.
• Hands-on experience with Auth0.
• Familiarity with internal J&J processes (XENA) or willingness to learn.
