Job Title: Offshore Design Engineer
Location: Navi Mumbai
Budget: upto 18 LPA
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams to conceptualize, develop, and optimize structural designs for offshore and oil & gas infrastructure.
- Execute comprehensive hand calculations and apply finite element methods to validate structural integrity, compliance, and performance under operational and environmental loads.
- Develop detailed lift plans and support the logistical coordination of lifting and installation activities for offshore units.
- Rigorously apply engineering principles and comply with international industry codes and standards, including IS, API, DNV, Eurocodes, and NORSOK, to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Lead and participate in detailed design reviews, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and adherence to project specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Prepare and present comprehensive technical reports, calculation notes, and project documentation to support engineering and client requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university
- .Proven 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in structural design and analysis of offshore platforms, including load-out, transportation, and lifting analysis of marine and offshore structures
- .Demonstrated expertise in the detailed design, structural analysis, and preparation of comprehensive engineering reports for offshore platforms
- .Sound knowledge and practical application of relevant structural design codes, standards, and industry best practices for steel structures used in offshore environments
- .Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation and collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams
