Job Description

Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.

Job Purpose

  • To handle foreign inward remittances received by DBS for various customers

Key Accountabilities

  • To ensure inward remittances are credited basis FEMA regulation
  • Creation of relateds FIRC and IRM

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Daily processing of FCY inwards
  • To prepare multiple reports like R-return, Cross Border remittance report and DRI report etc
  • Responsible for multiple reconciliations
  • To follow up with respective stakeholders to process the payment smoothly
  • Fair Understanding of financial services
  • Understanding on Indian banking operations
  • Handling queries & adhoc requests

Required Experience

  • Upto 2 years in relevant field
  • Candidate should aware about basic FEMA guidelines
  • Knowledge about reporting of applicable transactions under LRS & NRO.
  • Knowledge about other remittance facilities / miscellaneous remittances

Education / Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum Graduation (BCom/ BAF)

Core Competencies

  • Knowledge of banking operations within cross border remittances

Technical Competencies

  • Good Excel knowledge
  • Clearance of FEDAI examination would be an added advantage

Work Relationship

  • Relationship Managers
  • Compliance and Audit stakeholders
  • Internal reconciliation team
