A Production Supervisor or Team Lead is needed to oversee daily shift production, ensuring all activities are executed according to company policy and discipline standards. This role is crucial for achieving departmental objectives and production targets while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Operational & Quality Oversight: You will manage the entire production workflow, from the receipt and verification of raw materials and packing materials to the final shifting and storage of finished goods. You are responsible for the online updating of Batch Production and Control Records, and you'll oversee all work permits and job cards during your shift. A key part of the job is ensuring GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) compliance and a continuous focus on improving product and process quality. You must also maintain a clean and hygienic work environment by following all SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
Team & Performance Management: You will allot tasks to subordinates and supervisors, guiding and training them for continuous improvement in quality standards. You are also responsible for managing team discipline and ensuring they follow all company policies.
Safety & Compliance Management: You must be prepared for all emergency situations according to the Emergency Management Plan and aim for zero avoidable EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) incidents. You will ensure the effective implementation and maintenance of key management systems, including QMS (Quality Management Systems), EMS, OHSAS, and the Inventory management system. Additionally, you'll ensure that quality systems like change controls, deviations, and complaint handling are strictly followed
