About The Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) Officer / Executive / Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager with 310 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/manufacturing industry to join our team at Hosur.
Responsibilities
Implement and monitor EHS policies and procedures in compliance with statutory requirements
Ensure compliance with Factory Act, Pollution Control Board norms, and other applicable regulations
Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments regularly
Identify workplace hazards and implement corrective and preventive actions
Organize safety training, mock drills, and awareness programs for employees
Maintain EHS documentation, records, and statutory registers
Monitor waste management, hazardous material handling, and environmental practices
Investigate incidents/accidents and prepare reports with root cause analysis
Coordinate with government authorities for inspections and compliance matters
Promote a strong safety culture across the organization
Required Skills & Qualifications
M.E / M.Tech (Environmental Engineering)
310 years of experience in EHS (preferably in Pharma / API / Manufacturing industry)
Strong knowledge of EHS laws and statutory compliance
Experience in handling audits and inspections
Good communication and training skills
Knowledge of ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 standards is an added advantage
Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
