What You'll Do

As the Office Manager, Meetings & Events, you will provide strategic direction, operational leadership, and end-to-end oversight for hub meetings and events, including large-scale programs (700-1000 attendees), leadership offsites, townhalls, engagement initiatives, and cultural celebrations. You will act as the primary point of contact for event strategy and delivery within the Hub, partnering closely with meeting owners, leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and BCG values.

Define and Drive Hub Event Strategy

. Own and maintain the annual hub events and communication calendar ensure timely planning and clear stakeholder communication.

. Advise on event format, cadence, dates, and city/site selection, aligned with business objectives, culture, and participant experience.

. Define event objectives, success measures, and key milestones develop structured project plans and governance for delivery.

. Translate stakeholder needs into well-scoped programs and clear requirements for venues, suppliers, and platforms.

Deliver End-to-End Operational Excellence

. Lead end-to-end planning and execution across logistics, meeting space management, F&B, production, design, communications, security, and technology.

. Manage high-visibility and large-scale events with disciplined budget ownership, timeline control, and quality assurance.

. Select, brief, and manage external partners and vendors (preferably from approved supplier lists), including negotiation, contracting, and performance management.

. Oversee outsourced elements (e.g., freelancers, production partners) and ensure consistent delivery standards.

. Run on-site / live-event command and escalation management resolve issues quickly with calm, structured decision-making.

. Drive a structured feedback and continuous improvement framework through multi-stakeholder feedback loops, post-event surveys, pulse checks with actionable insights, and standardized retrospectives with documented learnings.

Governance, Risk, and Compliance

. Ensure adherence to BCG policies and local requirements across procurement, vendor onboarding, data privacy, security, and safety for all events.

. Maintain event documentation (plans, approvals, run-of-show, supplier contracts, attendee communications) to support auditability and risk mitigation.

. Standardize event playbooks, checklists, and templates to improve consistency, scale, and operational resilience across the Hub.

. Own content governance and coordination for the internal Office microsite and engagement communication channels related to hub programs and events..

. Track key metrics (e.g., satisfaction, attendance, budget variance, adoption of tools/processes) and use insights to drive continuous improvement.

Strengthen Stakeholder Partnerships

. Act as a trusted advisor to internal meeting owners and leadership provide thought partnership on experience design and operational feasibility.

. Build strong cross-functional relationships across the Hub and Global Teams to enable aligned, high-quality outcomes.

. Promote collaboration and engagement across the business support action planning in response to engagement feedback (e.g., people survey, real estate survey & Office affiliation survey).

. Champion BCG values and ways of working, ensuring inclusive and high-impact experiences.

Lead and Develop Team Capabilities

. Manage and coach a small team responsible for office initiatives, event planning and execution set clear expectations, roles, and standards.

. Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning share best practices and improve ways of working.

. Plan capacity and staffing for peak cycles ensure effective coverage for large-scale and multi-day programs.

Technical and Functional Skills

. Corporate internal event management and design for in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.

. Program and project management with strong attention to detail, budget discipline, and schedule ownership.

. Vendor sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and supplier performance management.

. Using digital tools and platforms (e.g., Trello, Slack, Zoom, Cvent) to streamline delivery and improve stakeholder experience.

. Escalation management and structured problem solving under tight timelines.

Stakeholder & Leadership Skills

. Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.

. Clear, confident communication (verbal and written) across all levels of the organization.

. Ability to influence and guide decision-making in complex, matrixed environments.

. Intellectual agility and resourcefulness when faced with ambiguity and changing priorities.

What You'll Bring

. Bachelor's/Master's Degree (or equivalent) in Business, Hospitality, Events, or related field.

. 10+ years of relevant experience in event management (preferably in a corporate / global organization).

. People management experience and proven ability to lead teams through peak delivery cycles.

. Strong organizational and time management skills with sharp attention to detail.

. Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).

. High responsiveness and strong customer service orientation.
