Established in 2015, Buildofy is a subscription-based content platform that showcases interesting Indian architecture projects. We do this primarily through high-quality video films and in-depth eBooks that explain a project's context, spatial experience, and materiality through the lens of design professionals.
We aim to elevate everyone's architectural knowledge and make it a household topic, so the environments we live in tomorrow are better built.
Our films attract a loyal following of 1 million+ subscribers, including homeowners, architects, construction professionals and students PAN India & worldwide.
WHAT ARE WE SEARCHING FOR
We are looking for a proactive and organized Office Manager to support the day-to-day activities of our workplace in Kandivali, Mumbai. This role involves coordinating operations, hospitality, HR admin and logistical support, ensuring the smooth functioning of our creative and collaborative workforce.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule Calls & Google Meetings
Be the one-point contact for all external stakeholders:
- Products & Brands
- Potential Recruits
- Vendors
- Employees
Front Desk & Coordination
- Handle reception duties — attending calls, greeting visitors, and coordinating vendor and client meetings.
- Manage travel arrangements and bookings for the team.
- Coordinate courier deliveries, material dispatches, and other external errands as needed.
Office Support & Maintenance
- Oversee pantry supplies, stationery, IT — ensuring timely refills and inventory management.
Logistics & Hospitality
- Manage food orders and refreshments for client meetings and internal team meetings.
- Maintain and update the database of clients, vendors and teammates.
- Manage the birthday calendar and organize celebratory orders.
- Prepare and record office vouchers, reimbursements, and petty cash expenses.
Miscellaneous
- Assist the founders with their personal or administrative tasks, as required.
- Support in-house events, workshops, and team activities when needed.
Qualities & Skills Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar).
MUST HAVES
- Understanding of the company's business model
- Friendly, presentable, and professional demeanor when interacting with clients, vendors, and all stakeholders.
- Emotional quotient to understand psychology of Gen Z employees.
- Ability to roll up your sleeves and get work done.
- Excellent verbal communication + error-free writing skills.
- Systems driven.
- Efficient documentation and filing (Digital + Physical).
- 2-3 years experience will be preferable, but we are also open to fresh talent.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive matters
