Office based Sales Engineer
This role involves lead generation, end-to-end enquiry management through SAP, timely customer support and relationship management,
coordination with the sales team, order execution, payment collection, and providing office-based sales support.
Your job:
- Track open quotations and orders to accelerate business turnover.
- Manage credit controls and support customer-specific pricing strategies based on business potential.
- Drive conversion of competitor products to Festo equivalents and support the field sales team in capturing new business to increase market share.
- Play a key role in proposing value engineering initiatives and optimized automation solutions.
- Train and update the customers on new product launches and phased-out products.
- Gather and share market intelligence on competitors and industry trends.
Your qualification:
- The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering with 3 to 5 years of experience in inside sales.
- The person should proactively understand customer needs, drives business opportunities with the sales team and ensures efficient order execution through strong product knowledge and clear customer communication.
