Company Description:
The Office Accounts Executive at Beyond Pictures will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations of the company, including handling production-related payments during shoot schedules and managing office accounts during non-shoot periods. This role requires strong financial discipline, trustworthiness, efficiency in banking transactions, and the ability to work under pressure during active production days.
Key Responsibilities:
A. During Shoot Schedules (Production Phase):
• Handle on-ground cash flow management and payment coordination.
• Execute bulk transfers, RTGS/NEFT/IMPS transactions to vendors, artists, technicians, and suppliers.
• Coordinate and make bank visits for cash withdrawals, deposits, and urgent transfers.
• Maintain accurate daily production expense statements.
• Manage and record petty cash distribution and settlement.
• Coordinate with Line Producer and Production Team for immediate financial requirements.
• Handle stamp paper procurement, vendor payments, and agreement-related documentation.
• Ensure proper documentation and vouchers for all shoot-related expenses.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial data and sensitive transactions.
B. During Non-Shoot Period (Office Operations):
• Manage monthly payroll processing for office staff and retainers.
• Maintain records of office operational expenses (rent, utilities, subscriptions, maintenance, etc.).
• Process vendor payments and follow up on pending dues.
• Maintain updated cash book, ledgers, and expense trackers.
• Assist with GST documentation, TDS records, and coordination with auditors/CA.
• Monitor bank balances and prepare periodic financial summaries for management.
• Maintain organised filing of invoices, agreements, and payment proofs.
• Support budgeting and cost planning for upcoming projects.
Skills & Requirements:
• Prior experience in film production accounting / media / production house accounting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of banking procedures and online transfer systems.
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic accounting principles.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations during shoot schedules.
• Strong organisational and documentation skills.
• Trustworthy, discreet, and financially responsible.
• Proficiency in Tally / Excel / accounting software.
• Willingness to travel locally for bank and vendor-related work.
