Odoo Implementation & Management ExpertLocation: Rajkot, Gujarat
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Odoo Implementation & Management Consultant to join our dynamic team in Rajkot, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Odoo ERP systems, particularly the latest Odoo 18 platform, and will be responsible for leading implementation projects, system customization, and ongoing management of our Odoo infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Development
- Lead end-to-end Odoo 18 implementation for in-house projects.
- Design and develop custom modules and applications within the Odoo framework
- Configure and customize existing Odoo modules to meet specific business requirements
- Perform data migration from legacy systems to Odoo platforms
- Integrate Odoo with third-party applications and external APIs
System Management & Optimization
- Manage and maintain existing Odoo installations and databases
- Monitor system performance and implement optimization strategies
- Handle system upgrades and module updates while ensuring data integrity
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide timely resolution
- Establish and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures
Client Engagement & Training
- Conduct business requirement analysis and gap assessment
- Provide technical consultation and recommend best practices
- Train end-users on Odoo functionality and workflows
- Create comprehensive documentation and user manuals
- Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance services
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Odoo implementation and development
- Proficiency in Odoo 18 features and latest updates
- Strong knowledge of Python programming and PostgreSQL database
- Experience with Odoo framework architecture (ORM, Views, Controllers)
- Familiarity with XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and QWeb templating
- Knowledge of Linux server administration and deployment
Functional Expertise
- Deep understanding of various Odoo modules: eCommerce, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, Project Management, CRM
- Experience in business process mapping and workflow optimization
- Knowledge of ERP best practices and industry standards
- Understanding of multi-company and multi-currency configurations
Soft Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication skills in English, Hindi, and Gujarati
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Client-facing experience with strong presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Odoo certification (Functional or Technical)
- Experience with Odoo Community and Enterprise editions
- Knowledge of other ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Experience with Docker, Git version control, and CI/CD processes
- Knowledge of accounting principles and business processes
