The team

Deloitte is working with global customers on cloud technologies to help them spot unseen business trends, transform, and curate data to find meaningful insights, and so on. Due to continued expansion, we're searching for like-minded individuals to help us take it to the next level.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing data ingestion and transformation pipelines for large-scale organizations. We are seeking someone with deep technical skills in a variety of technologies to play an important role in developing and delivering early proofs of concept and production implementation.

You will get good experience in building solutions using a variety of open-source tools on a cloud platform and a proven track record in delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines.

Scope of Work & Required Skills

• 5-10 years of overall IT experience with 3+ years of hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud
• OCI Architecture & Administration
• Architect and manage OCI infrastructure including compute, storage, networking, and identity services across availability and fault domains
• Provision and manage compartments, virtual cloud networks (VCNs), subnets, internet gateways (IGW), network gateways (NGW), and service gateways (SGW)
• Configure and maintain Network Security Groups (NSGs), security lists, and public load balancers
• Monitoring & Optimization
• Monitor usage of OCI services, manage auto-scaling configurations, and track Universal Credits consumption, including message packs
• Optimize cost and performance through resource planning and usage analytics
• Security & Identity Management Implement and manage IAM policies, user and group management, and fine-grained access control
• Configure auditing, alerting, and logging to monitor the OCI environment and ensure compliance
• Regularly perform security reviews, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation
• Disaster Recovery & Backup
• Design and manage backup strategies, disaster recovery (DR) plans, and cross-region replication for high availability and data protection
• Automation & Scripting
• Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting tools
• Maintain version-controlled infrastructure automation scripts for repeatable deployments
• Maintenance & Support
• Handle patching, system upgrades, and release management for OCI infrastructure components
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in collaboration with application and security teams
